In 1987, I started the cafe and restaurant, named "the country kitchen DAIKOKUYA".

In 2008, I reft DAIKOKUYA to my family, and I went to Yakushima, where I maneged a different cafe.

At Yakushima, I met a lot of people and felt it is very wonderful to encounter different types of people.

Thus, I started the guesthouse "NIJI NO TANE" for people who want to meet others. We changed that's name to "Arugamama" in 2019.

"NIJI NO TANE" means "Rainbow seeds".

"Arugamama" means "As it is".
